Run Away From Samsara
(a friendly piece of advice to myself)
Run away from samsara!
The mind, darkened with concepts,
distractions, emotions,
evaluations from the past
and steeped in kleshas - this is samsara,
the abode of ignorance and the vale of
suffering - run away from it.
With the help of concentration,
diligent meditation and contemplation while walking!
Channels blocked with slimy energy
of mundane desires - this is samsara.
The ocean of stormy karma -
run away from it with the help of detachment, abstinence of indulging
to desires, and intensive practice of the yoga of the wind!
The stable feeling “I am this body
made of flesh and blood” (aham deh-asmi) - is a trap for the soul and the spirit -
this is samsara - run away from it
with the help of Atma-Vichara
and thinking on sentences
(Aham Brahmasmi)!
Remember, oh Yogi! Only this escape
from samsara saves from it, but the outer things only rankle the body and the mind in vain.
