History of the manifestation of Avadhuta Siddha Ashram

After Kumbhamela 2019, the Guru and his students visited Omallur, the Samadhi of Shiva Prabhakara, and, inspired by the fact that students could have the opportunity to practice here, gave instructions to Ananda Leela to build an ashram within a radius of 200 meters from the Samadhi for a closer connection with the Siddhas of the Southern Line of Teaching.

On August 19, 2019, land was acquired 50 meters from Samadhi.

On February 7, 2020, the foundation stone of the Ashram house took place, which was attended by many students from different countries, led by Swamini Sathya Tejasi Giri and students from the Ufa Sukhavati Ashram.

Swamini Ananda Leela and the novice Uttamika remained in Kerala.

In August 2020, Ananda Leela and Uttamika went to Ukraine to participate in the annual Dharma Maha Sabha, while the construction of the house continued. Before leaving, they installed the door and laid out the relics since the owner himself had to install the door. Upon returning to Omallur in January 2022, a house that had already been built was waiting for us, without any interior decoration yet - which is what we began to do.

On May 1, 2022, the opening of the ashram took place according to all Vaastu rituals.

On May 5, 2022, they carried out the ritual of laying the relics to begin constructing the temple. It was a turtle in which a gold plate with a yantra was installed.

On September 2, 2022, the long-awaited opening of the temple took place, which was attended by the Guru, mahants, monks and many disciples from all over the world. The opening itself was solemnly held, offerings were made to the place of Samadhi to Paramguru, annadhana (feeding of devotees), as well as abhisheka and other rituals at Samadhi, a retreat and satsang of the Guru, were held.

The devotees of Kerala held a festive program. Also, Guru, Ananda Lila and Uttamika were given certificates of gratitude for the temple's construction to the great Siddha yogi Shiva Prabhakara. Karpura Sundara Pandian, a longtime devotee of Shiva Prabhakara, who visited us with Janardhan Nair back in Russia, came from Tamil Nadu.

During the temple's opening, devotees saw a pillar of light reaching high into the sky, and in the evening, a full rainbow appeared over the ashram. Paramguru's devotees who knew him during his lifetime said that our temple is a powerful place of power.

At the moment, both monks and karma sannyasis live in the ashram. The mahant of the ashram is Swamini Ananda Leela Giri.

The ashram invites everyone to be in the ashram space next to the Samadhi place of Paramguru. According to the Siddha tradition, it is believed that only the Siddha himself decides who can be or live in close proximity to him.

Anyone who wishes can always take part both in providing for the ashram and in projects related to it. And also in offerings to the place of Samadhi itself in the form of flowers, garlands, fruits and everything necessary for carrying out pujas.
