The ashram of karma-sannyasi Sadhu Tapovan is located in a picturesque region of the Altai Mountains, in a village on the banks of the Katun River. The ashram is supported by its daily practice and service by disciples from among the karma sannyasis under the spiritual guidance of the mahant nun Vedamatri Giri. The ashram format allows you to combine the lifestyle features of family practitioners (including those with children) and high standards of sadhana, including daily practice, service, following the established retreat rule, studying the Teaching, passing exams and standards, etc. The ashram hosts individual and collective retreats, Vedic holidays are celebrated, and in the summer, pilgrimages are organized to the high-mountain places of power in Altai.
